3D printing design garbage bin - mechanical engineer

I would like to design a garbage bin project that can be printed in 3D printers… the bin will have a mechanical system and locking latch… an engineer must design the system and the bin in a way that can last a decent amount of time as well as a sturdy structure, have a modern appearance and made to specifications.
