2d ai file turned into 3d model stl file

I'm looking to convert my existing 2D AI file into a 3D STL model that's suitable for 3D printing large scale and small scale. My expectation lies in the medium level of detail for the model. The project doesn't currently specify the need for added color or texture, but future needs might arise, so it should be considered.
