3d cad designer for a simple one-off task
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a piece to print using 3d printing. I have designed and modelled the piece but my very old and simple software cannot handle the modest complexity.
I need someone to copy the piece (attach graphical images and a slightly faulty .stl file dimensioned in mm) and give me a good .stl file to submit to the printers.
The attached .stl file has two objects. The large rectangular plate (LRP - coloured brown in the images below) is not what I need modelled. The smaller object with 10 holes is a sealed cover plate (SCP - coloured yellow) for the LRP. is the one I need replicating (this one has broken surfaces and holes)
Key things to note:
1 - all 10 holes in the SCP are 6.4mm diameter
2 - The position of the 6 outer holes is critical. They have to align with the holes in the LRP, with the downstand in the SCP centrally positioned in the large oval hole in the LRP
3 - the SCP has a groove cut into it to accept an o-ring. This is a dovetail groove for a 3.5mm o-ring. Attached pdf has details of groove dimensions and positioning.
Overall dimensions of the SCP are 140mm x 95mm x 16mm. Critical dimensions are the downstand positioning, radius of the walls and size to provide 1mm clearance to the oval opening in the LRP, positioning of the 6 bolt holes that must exactly match those in the LRP, and one clearance. There is a single hole coloured green in the images attached. The edge of the SCP must be +/- 7.5mm from the centre of this hole to allow clearance for an M5 hex bolt head, whilst not compromising support for the O-ring groove.
