Workshop drawings of steel construction supporting water slide
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I am looking for a designer to create workshop drawings of a steel construction project for a medium-scale community pool water slide. Specifically, I have specific requirements for the materials to be used and would like a specific design style for the construction. I am expecting a very detailed set of workshop drawings based on my requests, as they are an integral part of the project. This set should include accurate measurements, materials specifications, and other useful information that is necessary for the production and installation of this structure.
I would provide a 3d model with geometry, examples of the similar structures, steel profiles of the main structure are known, statics are done, examples of the nodes would be given. Whole structure would weight around 6,5 t. Documentation must be prepared in English, together with Bill of Materials (incl. bolts and nuts etc.). Delivery time for the documentation: October 2023. Please note that the water slides components made of GRP (tubes and staircase) are not a scope of the quote, also please note that attached visuals do not show the whole structure - it is just the main geometry, without horizontal beams, support flanges, tie beams etc.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record in producing workshop drawings for steel projects as well as a mastery of CAD software. The ability to create dimensionally accurate drawings would be highly advantageous. Experience working on a similar project, such as a community pool water slide, would be beneficial.
