Wire Rope MFL Simulation Expert in ansys maxwell 3d Need clear assistance to do the project

Job ID: 40345007

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I am an MTech student working on a project related to quantitative detection of wire rope defects using Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL).

I have a reference IEEE/NDT paper and I want to replicate the simulation results using ANSYS Maxwell 3D.

Scope of work:

* Build 3D geometry of steel wire rope (multi-wire or simplified cylinder model)
* Assign materials (steel, air, permanent magnets)
* Setup magnetic excitation using permanent magnets / coil
* Place Hall sensor array correctly
* Implement defect modeling (surface and internal defects)
* Perform magnetostatic simulation
* Extract magnetic flux leakage signals (Mh, Sw, Sh)
* Help match simulation trends with the reference paper

Requirements:

* Strong experience in ANSYS Maxwell 3D (Electromagnetics)
* Experience with Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) or NDT simulations preferred
* Ability to troubleshoot meshing and convergence issues

Deliverables:

* Working ANSYS Maxwell project file
* Simulation results (plots/graphs)
* Brief explanation of setup and parameters

Note:
Exact matching of paper results is not required, but trends should be similar.

I need a full-fidelity Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) study in ANSYS Maxwell 3D that proves the technique can reveal both surface and internal defects inside a multi-strand wire rope. The end goal is a set of field plots and sensor-level signals that clearly differentiate defective from intact sections so the model can be tied into a real-time inspection system later on.

To get there you will have to:
• define accurate magnetic and mechanical material properties for each strand and core
• rebuild the rope geometry in 3-D with strand lay, pitch, and realistic defect shapes included
• choose and justify boundary conditions and coil arrangements that replicate laboratory testing
• carry the workflow right through to post-processing, presenting leakage field maps, quantitative signal curves, and a short interpretation report

I only want to review detailed project proposals that walk me through your planned modelling strategy, validation ideas, and a concise timeline. Please reference any similar MFL or Maxwell projects you have delivered; generic CVs will be skipped.

The job is considered complete when I can open your Maxwell project, rerun it without errors, and obtain the same results and plots you supply in the final report.
