I have an original idea for a hand-held tool that makes removing weeds faster and far less strenuous. Right now it lives only in rough sketches and a short feature list; I’d like to move it through design refinement, prototyping, and the early steps toward patent protection.

Here’s the kind of help I’m looking for:

• Review my notes and sketches, then suggest practical design improvements that keep the tool simple and low-cost.
• Translate the chosen concept into detailed 3D models (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or comparable) ready for rapid prototyping or small-batch machining.
• Recommend readily available materials, off-the-shelf parts, and manufacturing processes that fit limited initial production runs.
• Provide an exploded-view drawing, bill of materials, and basic assembly instructions so I can source components locally.
• If you have patent experience, outline the novelty in clear language and supply draft drawings suitable for a provisional filing.

Acceptance criteria:

• Two or more design iterations delivered as native CAD plus neutral STEP files.
• Complete part list and assembly documentation.
• Brief manufacturing report with unit-cost estimate for a 100-piece pilot run.
• Optional but valued: written feedback on patentability and suggested next steps.
