We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Modeler and Texture Artist to create realistic 3D models of luxury watches and their dials. These models will be utilized as assets within a Unity-built program integrated into a live WooCommerce (WordPress) website. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for replicating the intricate designs of high-end timepieces.
Key Responsibilities:
3D Modeling:
Create high-quality 3D models of luxury watches and their components (e.g., dials, bezels, hands, straps).
Ensure models are optimized for real-time rendering in Unity without sacrificing quality.
Maintain accurate proportions and thickness in the models to reflect real-world counterparts.
Texturing:
Develop detailed textures for watch models, focusing on realism and material properties.
Replicate specific textures such as metal finishes, leather, sapphire glass, and other materials used in luxury watches.
Pay close attention to fonts used on dials, ensuring they match the original designs precisely.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the development team to integrate 3D models into the Unity program.
Coordinate with web developers to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into the WooCommerce site.
Take feedback from stakeholders and iterate on models to meet high standards of realism and accuracy.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of 3D models within the Unity environment to ensure they perform well on the website.
Address any issues related to rendering, textures, or functionality promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
3D Modeling Software: Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
Texturing Software: Experience with texturing tools like Substance Painter, Photoshop, or similar.
Unity: Familiarity with Unity and experience in preparing assets for real-time rendering.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, especially in replicating fonts, textures, and proportions of luxury watch components.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous work on realistic 3D models, preferably including luxury products.
Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with the development and design teams.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in creating assets for e-commerce or online product visualization.
Knowledge of WooCommerce and WordPress for understanding the integration process.
Understanding of luxury watch brands and their design aesthetics.

within this budget we would like:
- a complete watch render
- a separate dial render with 3 x different sets of language numerals (hours, minute markers, etc)
- 2 x strap/bracelet variations (with and without diamonds)
- 2 bezel variations (1 standard bezel + diamond bezel)
- 2 case options (1 standard + diamond )
EVERYTHING MUST LOOK REALISTIC AND CONSISTENT.
The first watch to design will be a Daytona Rolex (reference:116500LN) - pls google it
This is an ongoing project and we have over 50 watches to go through.
