VMC Program & Functional Model Design
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a complete VMC programming package and a matching 3-D model that I can run through a functional simulation. The objective is to verify real-world mechanical movements before any chips are cut, so the CAD must accurately drive the CAM.
Scope
• Create a 3-D model that shows every required mechanical movement.
• Build tool-paths and G-code for my VMC, ready to post and test in the machine simulator.
• Use a mixed-material approach—please note in the model which parts are intended for metal and which for plastic.
• Provide a short video or screen capture proving that the simulated mechanism cycles smoothly without collisions.
Deliverables
1. Native CAD file (STEP or SolidWorks preferred) with fully defined assemblies.
2. CAM setup: tool library, verified tool-paths, and final G-code.
3. Motion study or simulation file demonstrating mechanical movement.
4. Bill of materials labeling metal vs. plastic components for the prototype.
Keep filenames clear and include any setup sheets or notes needed to reproduce the results on the shop floor.
