Turbo Generator Detailed Engineering
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have already completed the high-level concept for a new turbo generator and now need a specialist who can take the project through the detailed engineering stage. Your work will focus on turning my preliminary models and calculations into a production-ready design package: updated 3-D geometry, structural and thermal analyses, clear manufacturing drawings, and a bill of materials that suppliers can quote against.
Key tasks
• Refine the aerodynamic and thermodynamic layout, validating blade profiles and flow paths in CFD (ANSYS CFX, Fluent, or a comparable tool).
• Run coupled structural and thermal FEA to confirm rotor and stator integrity at speed, temperature, and load.
• Optimise cooling passages and bearing housings for serviceability and efficiency.
• Produce fabrication-ready drawings in SolidWorks or Inventor along with GD&T.
• Compile a concise design report summarising calculations, assumptions, and safety factors.
Although we are not yet building hardware, I also want to lay the groundwork for upcoming prototype performance testing. Please include in your scope a brief test plan outlining required instrumentation, test points, and acceptance metrics for output power, thermal efficiency, vibration, and noise.
Acceptance criteria
• All stress, modal, and thermal results show safety margins ≥ 1.5 to applicable codes.
• Final geometry imports cleanly into STEP/IGES with no healing errors.
• Manufacturing package and test plan are complete, clear, and ready for supplier RFQs.
If you have hands-on experience designing rotating machinery, understand ISO and API standards, and can communicate design justifications clearly, let’s talk.
