Tree House -- 3
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The treehouse design can be very simple as long as it's interesting/unique.
In the file labeled 'Part 1' please use the following link https://volumezerocompetitions.com/competitions/result/15 as inspiration to what the treehouse should look like. Note that the renderings are NOT required at all nor do there NOT need to be any passages explaining the designs. Please only reference the actual Revit designs from the competition, as I only want to focus on Revit creation and not so much the design/details aspect you may see in the examples. Please ONLY use the rfa files given when submitting the final design requirements.
The treehouse project will consist of three different parts, the first two being a part of the design process that will already occur for the third part. I preface this because I will need some parts of the design stages to be saved separately. The first two 'parts' are extra documentation I need to save as separate files, so please keep some pictures or the actual files themselves when reaching the first two design stages.
The first part is referencing the 'Part 1' file and will about completing the site plan for the treehouse and beginning the basic structure of the treehouse; use a real place to reference google maps to create a contoured site plan in revit. Since the site will reference a real place, I want the NEAREST surrounding buildings/roads/water source, etc. to be included as well. This is so I have an idea/ understanding of where it is at. Goal: complete 3 basic masses for the structure of the treehouse along with the site pan in Revit. Include the nearest surrounding building/roads/etc. if it applies to the site chosen. Please tell me the name/area of the specific location you have chosen for the site. Please save the Revit file at this point and send it separately from the final treehouse design.
Part two, referencing file 'Zooming In', will be a close-up shot of the masses created for the treehouse and will keep the natural aspects of the site plan aka the nearest water sources/roads. Moving forward from this design stage, the Revit design does NOT need any of the nearest buildings created in assignment one, since the focus is on the treehouse structure. For part two, you have to add more details to the structure and design the necessary requirements found in the file named 'Tree House', such as creating three floors, having at least part of the treehouse above ground, creating three different rooms (a place to rest, do recreation, and work), having at least one space ADA accessible, and at least one portion covered/have a roof. Goal: Remove the previously drawn nearest buildings and begin the tree house design requirements. Please save the Revit file at this point and send it separately from the part three treehouse design.
For part three, it involves the creation of the remaining requirements, as well as the organization of the drawing requirements (reference the file 'Tree House'). This includes presenting the Revit design of the treehouse in this specific order:
1. Have a Cover Page for the design; the rfa file labeled 'BBP ANSI B 11 x 17 CoverPage' is where this must be placed on.
**Other than the cover page, all of the other remaining revit drawings (from the site plan to the diagrams of the treehouse) must each be presented on the rfa file 'BBP ANSI B 11 x 17 Presentation'

4. Site sections
5. Elevation views (north, south, east, west)
6. Axonometric views
7. Exploded axonometric views
8. Diagrams of the treehouse (I'd recommend searching 'Revit exploded 3D diagrams' and use those as a reference)
