Train Coach Fire Simulation
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a full Pyrosim-based Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) study of a fire starting inside a single passenger-train coach. The work must cover three aspects in the same model: how the fire grows and spreads, how smoke migrates through the carriage, and how passengers would evacuate under those conditions.
Please build an accurate 3-D geometry in Pyrosim, configure all relevant material properties, ignition source, boundary conditions and ventilation, then run FDS to steady completion. When the fire and smoke fields are validated, couple the data with an evacuation solver (Pathfinder or the built-in FDS evacuation module) so I can see egress times and potential bottlenecks.
Deliverables
• Pyrosim/FDS model files (.prj, .fds, meshes, materials)
• Evacuation model files and configuration
• Visual outputs: smoke and temperature animations, evacuation video, still images of key time steps
• A concise report summarising assumptions, input parameters, graphs of HRR, temperature, visibility, FED and evacuation curves, plus a short interpretation of results and recommendations
Acceptance criteria
• Simulation must run without errors on the current FDS release
• Mesh independence demonstrated or justified
• Results clearly address fire spread, smoke movement and evacuation objectives
I will supply coach dimensions, interior layout and any additional data you request once we begin.
