12-Ton Gantry Design Package

Job ID: 39940683

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a complete engineering package for a mobile gantry that can safely handle a 12-ton point lift. I have supplied reference photos (attached) of the existing gantry concept as well as pictures of the 6-ton skate rollers that will support the structure.

Scope
• Build the full 3D model in SolidWorks, including the transverse rolled I-beam, two side columns, welded tubular braces, and the four skate rollers (two per column).
• Run SolidWorks Simulation to check strength and stiffness for the 12-ton load case, confirming both global stability and local stresses.
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings with full assembly instructions—every plate, weld prep, hole, and cut length must be clear enough for fabrication without further clarification.
• Compile a complete bill of materials listing profiles, plate thicknesses, fasteners, and skate roller details, all specified for steel construction.

Acceptance
The drawings must be ready for workshop use: metric dimensions, and exploded views for assembly. FEA results should be included as a brief report highlighting max stress, deflection, and safety factors.

I will promptly answer questions and supply any extra measurements you need. If you have recent SolidWorks gantry or crane projects in your portfolio, please share a sample image or PDF so I can see your typical drawing style.
