Thermal Simulation for LED System

Job ID: 40542553

Budget: $150 – $220 USD

Summary
We are developing a high-efficiency LED system for vertical farming using advanced material technology. We need a top-tier Material, Mechanical, or Thermal Engineer with a strong academic background to perform a comprehensive thermal simulation.

What you will do:
1. Model a standard aluminum heat sink vs. a graphene-coated substrate for a high-power LED chip used in vertical farming.
2. Simulate heat dissipation and thermal behavior under continuous operation using ANSYS or COMSOL Multiphysics.

Deliverables:
- 3D thermal heat maps and fluid/airflow interaction models if applicable.
- Temperature reduction charts and a brief PDF report proving energy efficiency gains.
A calculation or estimation showing how much spatial volume (space saving) and cooling/HVAC energy (AC reduction) can be saved by switching to the graphene system.
Note: This is a project with a fixed budget. However, we are looking for long-term partners. If this simulation yields successful data for our upcoming investment round, this opportunity could transition into a well-compensated, full-time remote role in our core technology team.

Please mention your university and any previous experience with ANSYS/COMSOL in your proposal.
