Sweet home 3d design light fixture

I am trying to create a new light fixture for sweet home 3d. I managed to create the object file with blender and import just fine in sh3d. But to add the light into the sh3f file is not working. I followed all the blog descriptions but none create the light fixture with actual light.
Any body that is willing to help and explain what i need to do?
