I am kicking off the full exterior and systems design for a next-generation supercar and need your expertise inside Siemens NX and CATIA to bring the vision to life. The project balances three pillars—eye-catching aesthetics, all-out performance, and seamless hybrid-power integration—but the spotlight is firmly on creating a truly unique exterior silhouette that will stand out in any paddock or showroom.
The workflow begins with concept sketches or quick surface studies and moves rapidly into detailed Class-A surfacing, aerodynamic refinement, and hybrid-system packaging. Expect close collaboration on air-flow management around the front splitter, side intakes, and rear diffuser while ensuring the battery and e-motor layout keep weight distribution razor-sharp.
Deliverables I will be reviewing:
• Parametric 3D surface model in NX/CATIA, ready for tooling
• Aerodynamic analysis files (CFD snapshots or equivalent) highlighting coefficient improvements
• Preliminary hybrid drivetrain packaging study, showing cooling paths and mounting points
• High-resolution exterior renders that communicate the signature styling cues
