Sunlight Harnessing Light Collector
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking a skilled and innovative individual (or team) to design and build a light collector for sunlight. The primary purpose of this project is to provide lighting through the dispersion of collected sunlight. This is not a rush, turnaround time is flexible.
Key aspects of the desired system:
- Converts existing dryer vent to solar tube/tunnel.
- Efficient in collecting and distributing sunlight
- Robust and hard-wearing for sustained use
- Accommodate exterior horizontal flush mounted dryer vent openings (replaces exterior dryer vent hood).
- spec. 5.5" X 5.5", square, should fit in place of vent hood.
- Includes flange for connection to 4 inch dryer pipe
- Requires diffuser for end delivery of light to interior, fits to end of 4 inch dryer pipe.

- Strong grasp of photovoltaics and light manipulation
- Ability to innovate and problem-solve effectively
