I am setting up a new project that centers on fabricating and erecting the full steel frame for an office-grade building. All primary and secondary members—columns, beams, bracing, and connections—will be delivered in structural steel. I already have the architectural concept; what I need now is a specialist who can translate it into shop-ready drawings, cutting lists, and ultimately oversee or directly handle fabrication and site installation.
Scope of work
• Structural design verification or refinement to meet local codes
• Detailed 3D modelling (Tekla Structures or compatible BIM software)
• Issued-for-fabrication drawings, including bolt and weld schedules
• Material take-off and ordering assistance
• Coordination with my civil contractor during on-site erection
• Final as-built documentation
Acceptance criteria
1. Calculations stamped (if licensed) or reviewed by a qualified engineer.
2. Clash-free BIM model that aligns with the architect’s layout.
3. Fabrication drawings approved before cutting begins.
4. Steel frame erected square, plumb, and within tolerance, ready for façade and MEP trades.
