Steel Motor L-Bracket Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a straightforward L-shaped mounting bracket modeled in SolidWorks. The bracket will be fabricated in steel and must safely carry a motor that weighs under 5 kg. I already have the exact overall dimensions, hole locations, and flange thickness in a sketch—these files will be provided as soon as we start.
Your task is to turn those dimensions into a clean, fully-parametric SolidWorks part (or small assembly if you prefer to separate fasteners) and a 2D drawing that I can hand straight to the shop. Include basic load considerations so I can see that the material gauge is adequate for the stated weight.
Deliverables
• SolidWorks 2020+ native file
• PDF drawing with all critical dimensions and hole callouts
• STEP file for compatibility checks
The work is pretty small but accuracy matters, so the design should regenerate without rebuild errors and respect standard bend radii for steel sheet. Once I approve the model, the job is done.
