Solidworks designer for IECEx Product Modifications
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I need a Solidworks designer to modify an existing non-Ex design of a product to meet IECEx requirements. The designer does not need to make the design modifications, but needs to be able to implement the component change-outs, wiring component changes, and modify any existing models as is necessary to show in the drawing the design changes that need to be implemented. I will handle the approvals and the identification of any design changes. Original models in Solidworks for the design will be provided.
There are five components to the product design: a power supply and control cabinet (located outside the Ex-space), a UV chamber, a Cleaning Skid, and a local control switch (not shown)(each located inside the Ex-space).
Designer will either need to be able to do both electrical and mechanical drawings or I will need two designers (one electrical and one mechanical).
I need a fixed-price contract assuming 100 hours of work each for electrical and mechanical design with an hourly rate for exceeding 120 hours.
