SolidWorks Sheet-Metal Canopy Drafting

Job ID: 40470978

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I already have a working canopy prototype in hand and now need it translated into professional SolidWorks documentation for production. The canopies will be built from stainless steel sheet, so accurate flat-pattern development and bend allowances are critical.

What I expect from you:

• DXF cutting files for every sheet-metal part, ready for laser or water-jet.
• PDF bending drawings that show bend lines, angles, inside radii and any special notes a press-brake operator will need.
• A complete assembly package: exploded views with clear part labels, callouts, and an itemised bill of materials generated from the SolidWorks model.

I’ll supply the current concept files and any reference measurements as soon as we start. Your job is to rebuild the model using SolidWorks’ Sheet Metal tools, apply correct K-factors, verify fit-up, and generate the documentation listed above. Accuracy matters more than speed; every file must open cleanly and match the prototype dimensions.

If this scope lines up with your expertise, let’s talk and get the first canopy drawn.
