SolidWorks Mechanical Parts Optimization
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have several mechanical parts already modeled in 3D and now need a SolidWorks specialist to take them from “draft” to production-ready product design. Your task is to refine the existing models, resolve any geometric or tolerance issues, and prepare clear manufacturing drawings and STEP files that a machine shop can pick up without questions.
Scope of work
• Review my current SolidWorks 3D assemblies and individual part files.
• Apply design-for-manufacture best practices: proper fillets, draft angles, clearance checks, fastener call-outs, and standard hardware selection.
• Run basic interference and motion studies to confirm fit and function.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings with dimensions, GD&T where needed, and a concise BOM.
• Deliver the updated .SLDPRT/.SLDASM files plus neutral formats (STEP, IGES) ready for fabrication.
I’ll share the existing 3D models and functional requirements as soon as we start. Communication can be via screen-share or marked-up PDFs—whatever makes iterations fastest. Let me know your relevant SolidWorks experience and typical turnaround time so we can lock in a schedule and get these parts on the shop floor.
