SolidWorks Fastener Drawings and Models

I am a mechanical engineer for a fastener manufacturer, approaching retirement, and we are seeking to establish a long-term relationship with a skilled freelancer. Your task will be to create new drawings and models based on existing ones, with some dimension updates and checks to ensure accuracy. These tasks are typically quick, taking about 10-20 minutes each. Additionally, we may require new drawings/models for parts that don't currently exist, but we will provide examples for guidance. This initial project will serve as a test to determine our compatibility.

Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks 2020 or later.
- Ability to update and verify dimensions on existing models.
- Experience in creating detailed mechanical tolerances in drawings/models.
- Capability to develop new models from provided examples and specifications.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in mechanical engineering and CAD modeling.
- Expertise in SolidWorks, particularly with fastener components.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Good communication skills for ongoing collaboration.
- Understanding of Fasteners and threads

I will provide the SolidWorks model, drawing, and specification sheet for the new part to be developed from the provided files. We are excited to find a freelancer who can seamlessly integrate into our workflow and contribute to our projects.

In bids I am interested in $/hour of course, but also an estimate of how this you believe this project will require. We likely have this type of work 2 times per week.
