SolidWorks 2024 Buggy Assembly Design
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a hand-drawn sketch of a small race buggy and I need it turned into a complete SolidWorks 2024 assembly. Everything must stay within a 250 × 250 × 250 mm envelope, use a rear-wheel-drive layout and be modelled in aluminum.
Your task is to recreate the concept faithfully but keep the feature tree clean and student-friendly—no intricate reference schemes or unnecessary surface work. A simple placeholder drum for an elastic-band gearbox is enough; I’m not after detailed gear ratios.
Deliverables
• A single SolidWorks 2024 .SLDASM with the full assembly ready to open
• All related .SLDPRT files, fully resolved and neatly named
• Chassis, four wheels (larger rears), axles and the basic gearbox drum all mated properly inside the size limit
I’ll supply the scan of my sketch as soon as we start; you convert it, check that everything fits the 250 mm cube, and hand back a zipped project folder that opens error-free in SolidWorks 2024. If that sounds straightforward, let’s get rolling.
