Small Hotel BIM REVIT Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm in search of a skilled BIM professional for my hotel project- a small establishment with up to 50 rooms. I need someone with a keen eye for detail that can create intricate 3D models, detect clashes, and simulate construction using REVIT.
Key Tasks:
- Develop a comprehensive 3D model of the hotel, placing extra emphasis on the guest rooms and common areas.
- Carry out clash detection to identify any potential conflicts in the design.
- Execute construction simulation to visualize the construction process and timeline visually.
Project Setup:
Open REVIT and set up project units.
Create levels for the 2 underground floors, lobby, 4 typical floors, and roofing floor.
Underground Floors (2 levels):
Design two basement levels with a combined area of at least 450m2 each.
Include parking spaces and utility rooms.
Lobby:
Design a compact lobby on the ground floor with a reception desk and minimal seating.
Integrate MEP elements like lighting and basic HVAC.
Type Floors (4 levels):
Design four typical floors with a minimum area of 450m2 each.
Allocate space for hotel rooms and corridors.
Integrate basic MEP elements for lighting and electrical outlets.
Roofing Floor:
Create a simple roofing floor with a terrace area.
Include MEP components relevant to the roofing floor usage.
ARQ (Architectural):
Develop a straightforward architectural design, ensuring compliance with local building codes.
Focus on basic exterior and interior aesthetics.
STRUCTURE:
Design a simplified structural framework, considering the building's size and purpose.
Include basic elements like columns, beams, and foundation design for the two underground floors.
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing):
Plan basic MEP systems, including lighting, electrical wiring, and basic plumbing.
Allocate spaces for minimal mechanical rooms, electrical panels, and plumbing connections.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Maintain coordination between the architectural, structural, and MEP aspects for a streamlined design.
Utilize REVIT's collaboration features to facilitate teamwork.
Documentation:
Generate simplified construction documents, including floor plans and basic schedules.
Ensure that the documentation covers the essentials for construction and coordination
