3D Short on Corporate Exploitation

Job ID: 40231185

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

I want a concise 3-D animated piece that tugs at the viewer’s emotions while revealing how big-name corporations squeeze out emerging businesses, inflate their own profits, and ultimately leave consumers paying the price. The story should feel personal: we follow a promising small company, watch a larger competitor overwhelm it through unfair practices, then show the ripple effect on everyday shoppers. By the final frame the audience should feel both moved and motivated to question, share, and act.

Please send work examples candidiates have produced/executed for the similar type of work before applying.

The tone must stay emotional and compelling—think rich colours, expressive characters, and pacing that builds from hope to frustration, finishing on a note of collective resolve rather than despair. I’m open to stylistic suggestions within 3-D, but the visuals need polish and cinematic lighting to heighten the message.

I’ll lean on you for the full creative pipeline: script refinement, storyboard, voice-over direction, animation, sound design, and final mastering. The finished video will live primarily on social platforms, so clarity without heavy jargon is key.

Deliverables
• Script and storyboard approved before animation begins
• 30-60 second 1080p (or higher) 3-D animated video with synced audio
• Voice-over and soundtrack licensed for unlimited online use
• Two revision rounds after first full draft

Acceptance criteria
• Narrative clearly illustrates corporate practices harming small business and consumers
• Emotional arc sustains viewer engagement through final call-to-action frame
• Visual quality and lip-sync hold up when paused at any point

Bring your storytelling craft, Maya/Blender/Cinema 4D skills, and a passion for social impact, and let’s spark a conversation that leads to change.
