3D Shoe Design Automation from Foot Scans
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD
I'm running an orthotic 3D printed shoe company and I'm in need of an expert in Grasshopper and Python to develop an automation algorithm that fits a given shoe design to specific foot scans.
The algorithm needs to take the following into consideration:
- Arch height
- Foot width
- Toe length
- Toe box
- Ankle grip
- Upper high
Input will be in OBJ format and the output should be a ready-to-print STL file. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a control cage wrapping automation to ensure each shoe is tailored to fit a specific foot scan. Experience with 3D modelling, algorithm development and understanding of orthotic requirements will be highly advantageous.
