I have a set of hand-drawn sketches and 2D drawings in PDF/DXF format, which I need to be translated into a formal package suitable for fabrication.
Your main tasks for this project include:
- Converting the existing hand-drawn sketches and 2D drawings into 3D models using AutoCAD.
- Creating both 2D and 3D workshop drawings from the models, also using AutoCAD.
- Compiling a comprehensive material list that includes both standard and custom components.
Ideal skills and experience for this project include:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, as this is the software I prefer for the 3D modelling and workshop drawings.
- Previous experience with 3D modelling of trailer chassis, tippers, or dollies would be a bonus.
- A good understanding of both standard and custom components, to ensure a thorough material list is compiled.
