30-Second Chibi Parody Animation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’ve already written the gag-filled script, produced a timed storyboard and laid out every camera beat for a 30-second cinematic parody inspired by League of Legends. What I need now is a 3D animator who can turn those plans into an irresistibly cute chibi short packed with exaggerated expressions, dynamic camera moves, snappy magic FX and playful in-game UI overlays.
You’ll receive:
• Final script, shot list, timing sheet and creative direction on day one
• Reference clips for style, colour and FX pacing
• Access to placeholder voice and SFX tracks so animation lands perfectly on each joke
Key expectations
• Chibi proportions that stay consistent and readable
• Strong squash-and-stretch plus clear facial poses that sell comedy at a glance
• Swift, energetic camera work that mirrors action-orientated game cinematics
• Colourful, game-inspired VFX integrated seamlessly with the characters and environment
• Thoughtful comedic timing—beats must hit exactly where scripted
Deliverables
• 30-second 1920×1080 final render (H.264 or ProRes)
• Separate EXR or PNG sequence for UI layers so text remains editable
• All project files (Maya, Blender, Houdini or equivalent) organised and labelled
• Three review checkpoints—blocking, spline, lighting/FX—sent as playblasts for feedback
Acceptance criteria
• Every shot matches the supplied timing sheet within ±2 frames
• Expressions and body poses read clearly on first watch
• Magic FX and UI overlays sync to action and enhance humour, never obscure it
• Final assets delivered no later than three weeks after kickoff
To move forward, please share a reel that demonstrates polished 3D character animation and, crucially, clips where your comedic timing shines. If your style makes viewers laugh while looking adorable, we’ll be a perfect match.
