STL Model For 3D Printing

Hello fellow 3d print enthusiasts,
I have a 3d model (STL format), which I need to modify. Bassically I need to make the logo double layered. But botton layer must be 1 mm wider than the top one. I have attached the picture where I am facing the problem. Corners must be alligned perfectly. Also I will provide you the original stl file.
