Rustic Botanist's Study Room Design
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need an interior designer to transform a room into a paradise for a botanist. This space will primarily serve as a work and study area, so it needs to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Key Design Elements:
- Use of Natural Materials: The balanced rustic style leans heavily on the use of natural materials. Think wood, stone, and metal.
- Indoor Plants: As a botanist, the room should incorporate a variety of indoor plants. These should be tastefully arranged/shelved/stacked, contributing to the room's overall design while also serving as a workspace companion.
- Equipment: The room needs to accommodate various pieces of botanical equipment/tools. This should be factored into the design.
- Storage: Some storage space is crucial. This should be functional.
- Basic Furniture: The design should include basic furniture, all in line with the rustic theme.
Current Space:
- 16' x 9' in size
- Sill Height is approx 2'6"
- Ceiling is standard 9'6"
- There are 5 evenly spaced RCC beam on the ceiling supporting the glass roof
-
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Good background in interior design, particularly with rustic styles.
- Experience working with natural materials and designing spaces for plant life.
- Ability to integrate functionality and aesthetics seamlessly.
- Creative with a keen eye for detail.
- Good understanding of storage solutions and basic furniture design.
What to ignore:
- Please ignore that clothes rack, it is not meant to be there and there is enough space for that in the rest of the house.
