Roundavel Accessible Two-Bedroom Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m ready to turn a modern roundavel concept into construction-ready plans for a compact two-bedroom home. The footprint should follow a classic rondavel silhouette—circular outer wall, central open-plan living core—while using reinforced concrete as the primary structural material for durability and thermal mass.
Accessibility is central to the brief. Both bedrooms must connect to fully wheelchair-friendly bathrooms. Please integrate wide doorways, a gentle exterior ramp leading to the main entrance, and well-placed grab bars in each bathroom. Plan outlet heights, switches, and kitchen-cabinet pulls so they can be reached from a seated position.
I want drawings that a local contractor can build from, plus visuals I can share with permitting officials and lenders. At minimum I’ll need:
• Dimensioned floor plan and roof plan
• Elevations and one section highlighting the ramp and doorway clearances
• Bathroom and kitchen accessibility details
• 3D exterior and interior renderings (SketchUp, Revit, or similar)
Local codes don’t require full ADA, but please follow best-practice guidelines for turning radii and fixture spacing. If you’ve designed small concrete homes or accessible dwellings before, show me examples; it will help me choose quickly.
