Road Stormwater Profile Design
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m in the planning and design phase of a roadway project and need a complete storm-water profile focused on effective runoff management. The design must integrate storm sewers as the backbone of the system while also incorporating swales and ditches where they offer the best hydraulic and constructability advantages.
The scope covers:
• A roadway plan and longitudinal profile showing pipe sizes, inverts, grades, and tie-ins to existing drainage.
• Swale and ditch layouts with side slopes, flow capacities, and outlet details.
• Supporting hydraulic calculations that demonstrate the system can manage the design storm without overtopping or ponding.
• A concise design brief summarising assumptions, data sources, and recommended maintenance considerations.
Acceptance criteria: drawings delivered in CAD (Civil 3D or compatible DWG) plus PDF plots; calculations in an editable spreadsheet; all files georeferenced to the project coordinate system and reviewed against local standards.
With the base survey and preliminary alignment already prepared, I’m ready to share data the moment we agree on milestones so the modelling and drafting can begin right away.
