Road Chainage Redesign Compliance
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I need an experienced civil designer to take an existing set of road-widening and access-point drawings and re-work them so the chainage runs in the opposite direction. The sole driver for the change is compliance with MRWA requirements, so every amended drawing and set-out table must meet their standards without exception.
You will receive the current CAD files, longitudinal and cross sections, and the geometric design report. Your task is to:
• reverse the chainage on the plans, long-sections and any related schedules,
• adjust horizontal and vertical geometry where the reversal affects curve or sight-distance calculations,
• update labels, station equations, and any quantity or set-out sheets so that they read correctly from the new zero chainage,
• return a fully coordinated package (DWG and searchable PDF) that is ready for MRWA submission.
I work in Civil 3D 2026, so retaining native objects is essential. Please outline any similar jobs you have completed and the timeframe you need to deliver a compliant, error-free set.
