Rigged UE5 Martial Arts Hero Character from Concept Art – $250 Budget (Prototype for Funding)

Job ID: 40288790

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Hi freelancers,
I’m Nathan, an indie dev in Brandon, FL prototyping a UE5.7 martial arts game inspired by Sifu and Absolver (fluid combos, stances, painterly animated style). I need one starter hero character created fully from my concept art.
Requirements:
• Style: Painterly/illustrated (brush stroke textures, toon-like, not hyper-realistic). Low-mid poly (10k–25k tris) for good performance in UE5.
• Character Details: Mature Asian kung fu master (long black hair, serious/intense expression, muscular lean build, barefoot). Black gi outfit (loose pants, wrap-style top, belt, arm wraps) – exact match to attached concept images.
• Pose: T-pose or A-pose base for rigging and export.
• Rig: Full humanoid skeleton/rig compatible with UE5 Manny/Epic skeleton (for easy retarget to Game Animation Sample Project – GASP). Include IK/FK switches, foot locking, basic controls. Simple facial rig/blendshapes for expressions (e.g., anger, pain from hits) – no need for advanced lip-sync yet.
• Textures: Basic painterly/PBR materials (diffuse, normal, etc.) – stylized brush look.
• Deliverables:
• FBX file (mesh + rig + textures).
• Optional: Quick UE5 import/test screenshot or short clip showing it in T-pose/idle.
• Budget: Strict $250 max (this is a prototype to build a game slice for funding – happy to keep scope basic: one character, no extras like multiple outfits/animations unless included).
• Timeline: 7–10 days preferred.
• Software: Flexible (Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance – whatever gets clean UE5 results).
• No MetaHumans – I dislike that system.
Attached: Two concept images (front and back views in T-pose).
Please bid with:
• Your quote (under $250).
• Portfolio examples of UE5 rigged/stylized characters (especially martial arts or similar).
• Estimated timeline.
• Any questions.
Looking forward to bids – let’s get this hero in-game fast!
Thanks,
Nathan
