Revive KeyMouse Track Prototype
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I own an original KeyMouse Track-125—now discontinued—and would like to bring it back to life. The archived 3-D print files, PCB outlines and other artifacts I have gathered (see Google Drive link and the original product page) are incomplete and non-functional, so I need the entire unit reverse-engineered into a working prototype.
Your task is to study the existing CAD, circuitry snapshots, and reference photos, rebuild whatever is missing or incorrect, and hand me a fully functional sample that matches the look, feel, and performance of the original mouse-keyboard hybrid. A short rundown of what I expect:
• Up-to-date CAD that can be printed on common FDM/SLA machines
• Correct PCB layouts, firmware or controller setup required to drive the keys and trackball
• A complete bill of materials with readily sourceable parts
• One physical, tested prototype shipped to me and a short video showing it in action
If you can iterate quickly, document decisions, and deliver a prototype I can plug in and start using, let’s talk.
