Revit BIM Specialist for Commercial Bar
Budget: $380 – $760 AUD
Project Bid: Custom Parametric Commercial Bar Module (Revit BIM Family)
Project Overview: Seeking an experienced Revit BIM Specialist / Architectural Modeler to convert 2D technical drawings and engineering specifications into a high-performance, fully parametric custom furniture/equipment family (.rfa) for a commercial hospitality bar module.
Deliverables Required: Full Manufacturing Model (.rfa / .rvt): Built to LOD 350 specification featuring exact geometry, material parameters (304 stainless steel), and embedded hardware components (drawer slides, adjustable bullet feet, undercounter fridge casing footprint).
IP-Protected Shelled Version: A secondary stripped-down version containing only the external bounding mass, material definitions, and active MEP connection stubs for public distribution to architects.
MEP Connectors: Pre-configured connectors for plumbing waste, water supply, and electrical power with correct system classifications and flow directions.
Visibility settings: Coarse, medium, and fine detail levels to switch between simple space-reserving massing and detailed internal sheet-metal folding views.
Freelancer Requirements & Qualifications:
- Core Competency: Proven portfolio showcasing custom parametric family creation (specifically furniture, casework, millwork, or commercial kitchen/bar equipment).
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit (versions compatible with 2024–2026 native format).
- Modeling Standards: Strict adherence to native Revit geometry—no imported or retained CAD blocks—optimized to prevent file bloat.
- Technical Integration: Clear understanding of MEP connector setups, custom coordinate offsets, and spatial clearance zones for commercial hospitality equipment.
- Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with Australian hospitality and safety standards (AS 4674 for food/beverage premises construction and AS/NZS 3500 for plumbing).
