Residential Rooftop Solar PV Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a seasoned solar PV designer who can take a residential rooftop project from a raw roof plan all the way to a permit-ready and construction-ready package. The homes in my pipeline include flat, pitched, and combination roofs, so layouts must be optimized for mixed roof geometries. All drawings should be produced in AutoCAD, the 3-D model and renderings in SketchUp, and the energy-yield study in PVsyst. A full, bankable performance simulation is required, but you can skip the shading analysis component.
Deliverables I will review and sign off on:
• Optimized module layout for each roof surface
• PVsyst report showing annual energy yield, system losses, and performance ratio (no shading analysis)
• SketchUp 3-D model with high-resolution renderings for client presentation
• Detailed racking and mounting design with structural notes, attachment details, and bill of materials
• Permit set in PDF and original CAD files
A submission meets acceptance when the drawings are clean, dimensions are clear, electrical and structural notes align with current NEC and local codes, and the PVsyst output supports the layout shown in the plan set.
