Redesign a shower foot scrubber - Product Designer Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am looking for an experienced product designer to help me redesign my existing product, The Footsie, a shower foot scrubber to be larger in size while keeping the same overall shape, design, and functionality.
Scope of Work:
Take my existing physical product (I will provide this to you) and accurately measure it
Create a redesigned version that is proportionally larger, maintaining the same contours and features
Prepare detailed CAD files and STEP files suitable for manufacturing
Ensure the design remains functional and manufacturable (injection molding)
Provide final files ready to send to my Chinese manufacturer
Requirements:
Proven experience in product design for manufacturing (preferably consumer goods, plastic, or silicone products)
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360)
Ability to create precise STEP files and 3D models
Attention to detail to ensure scaling doesn’t affect usability or ergonomics
Good communication and ability to meet deadlines
Deliverables:
CAD files (.CAD or equivalent)
STEP files (.STEP)
Optional: 3D render images for visual reference
Notes:
