Rebuild SketchUp V-Ray Model
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I have an existing 3ds Max scene, a full set of DWG drawings, and several simulation files that all describe the same architectural project. My goal is to recreate the whole asset inside SketchUp and set it up for V-Ray so it can be used for clean, medium-detail architectural visualizations—think standard marketing stills and orbit videos rather than extreme macro shots.
The deadline is three days.
Scope of work
• Import or re-create the geometry in SketchUp, staying true to the DWG plans and the 3ds Max reference.
• Organise the model with sensible layers/tags, groups, and components for easy future edits.
• Apply V-Ray materials and lighting that match the look of the original simulation renders; material realism is important but polygon counts must stay reasonable for smooth navigation.
• Include general decorative elements like sofas, tables, chairs, plants, etc., visible in the simulations.
• Deliver a ready-to-render .skp file plus any linked textures, proxies, and a short render test so I can confirm everything loads correctly on my end.
Acceptance criteria
— Geometry fidelity matches the DWG and original 3ds Max model within standard architectural tolerances.
— No missing textures or broken proxy links.
— The scene renders in V-Ray for SketchUp without errors and at a workable render time on a mid-range workstation.
Please keep tool versions compatible with SketchUp 2023 and V-Ray 6. All original material names and layer structures from the source files are available if needed; I’ll share them once we start.
The model will serve as a base for lighting design work by me.
