Realistic & Proportionally Accurate Avatar Creation

I am looking to see if it's possible to create relatively realistic and dimensionally correct online avatars using machine learning, computer vision & 3D Modelling. Ideally, users will be able to take smartphone images & these can be converted to a customisable online avatar for use in the fashion industry.
