Ranch Home Floor Plan Design

Job ID: 40511954

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

My ranch-style house needs a well-thought-out, single-level floor plan that fits a strict 32'-wide by 30'-deep footprint while still feeling roomy where it counts. The living room is the priority for extra square footage, and I picture it as a warm, cozy gathering spot anchored by a fireplace. That space should flow seamlessly into an open dining area and kitchen, creating one continuous zone for everyday life and entertaining.

Key layout requirements
• Three bedrooms in total, with the master suite getting its own full bath (shower only is fine) and the other two bedrooms sharing a second full bath.
• Farmers-style front porch that reads “open with columns” rather than a fully railed or wrap-around design. The porch should feel inviting but stay within the house’s overall width.
• Practical traffic flow, good closet placement, and clear furniture zones—especially in the larger living room—so the compact footprint never feels cramped.

Deliverables I need
1. Scaled floor plan in PDF for quick printing and review.
2. Editable CAD/DWG (or comparable layered source file) so I can hand it to my local builder for any final tweaks.
3. A brief note explaining square footage allocations, wall thickness assumptions, and your fireplace placement rationale.

If you can work within these constraints and still make the plan look and live bigger than the numbers on paper, I’d love to see your concept.
