Prosthetic Overlay Design Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for a talented designer to collaborate on the "DIY3DRUK" project. Our project aims to create personalized overlays for functional leg prostheses using 3D scanning and 3D printing. Each overlay is designed to reflect the wearer's unique style and personality, as well as providing protection and extending the lifespan of the prosthesis. After the design phase, the next step will involve 3D printing the overlays using advanced printing technologies.
Key Tasks:
- Collaborate with me in detailing minimalistic, sleek overlays that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Requirements:
- Experience in 3D modeling, preferably in the field of medical design.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Rhino, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Ability to customize designs to accommodate users' styles and needs.
- Willingness to join a project focused on the psychological adaptation and support of people with functional prostheses.
This project is aimed at providing assistance to individuals who have lost limbs as a result of the war in Ukraine. By creating personalized overlays for functional leg prostheses through 3D scanning and printing technologies, we strive to offer these individuals not only physical support but also the opportunity to express their individuality and regain a sense of empowerment.
