Property Topography Map Creation
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I want to give my landscaper a clear, dimension-accurate picture of the site before any soil is moved. Your task is to pull data from the free spatial mapping sources that cover my address, combine it into a clean base map, and export the finished drawing as a high-resolution JPEG.
Purpose
The map is strictly for design planning, so every line and contour needs to be trustworthy enough for the landscaper to measure from.
What must appear on the map
– Current house footprint, all outbuildings and sheds
– Full perimeter with measurable lengths and a scale bar
– Contour lines or spot elevations wherever publicly available data provides them
– North arrow and clear legend
Please work only with no-cost resources (county GIS layers, USGS, OpenTopography, Google Earth, QGIS plugins, etc.). If a topographic layer for my exact location is not publicly released, note the data gaps and show the best elevation approximation you can retrieve.

A single JPEG (minimum 300 dpi) that a designer can import straight into their landscape software.
