Premium Floating Steel Staircase – AutoCAD 3D Model & Fabrication Drawings
I am looking for an experienced mechanical engineer or steel staircase designer to develop a complete manufacturing package for a premium residential floating staircase.
This is NOT a visualization project. I need a real engineering design that can be sent directly to a metal fabrication workshop for production.
The staircase will have:
Central RHS steel stringer (2 design options: 200×120 mm and 160×120 mm)
Floating 100 mm engineered oak treads
Fully concealed tread fixing system
Intermediate landing
Bronze powder-coated finish
Bronze laminated tempered glass balustrade
Premium minimalist appearance
No visible screws or fixing elements
The central stringer must be manufactured from a rectangular hollow section (RHS).
Fabricated box stringers made from welded steel plates are NOT acceptable.
I will provide:
Dimensioned 2D floor plan
Technical specification
Reference images
Additional information whenever required
Deliverables
Complete 3D AutoCAD model
Both stringer options (200×120 and 160×120 mm)
Fully editable DWG files
Manufacturing drawings
Sections
Welding details
Landing details
Concealed tread fixing details
Glass fixing details
PDF drawings
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Cut List
Assembly recommendations
Design optimization is expected. If you believe a better concealed tread fixing solution exists, you are welcome to propose it, provided the final concept is approved by me.
