Patent Design Drawings and Prototype
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My patent-pending concept is ready for the next stage; I have all of the critical dimensions worked out and now need a specialist who can translate my sketches into a full set of technical drawings and then build a single, working prototype. You’ll be starting with detailed measurements and reference photos, so we can move straight into CAD without the guess-work.
The drawings must be production-grade: orthographic views, exploded assemblies, tolerances, and call-outs suitable for future manufacturing. I normally work with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar packages, so native files plus clean PDFs will be expected. Once the drawings are signed off, I’d like one physical prototype fabricated in the specified materials—heavy-gauge plastic for the main body and cotton duck fabric for the flexible section—so I can validate the design before scaling up.
Because the idea is already filed, I’ll supply an NDA the moment we agree to proceed; protecting the IP is critical. Shipping of the finished prototype to my U.S. address is part of the scope and can be billed at cost.
Deliverables
• Complete technical drawing set (CAD source + PDF)
• Bill of materials with supplier notes
• One fully assembled prototype, tested for basic fit and function, securely packaged and dispatched to me
If you have the workshop capability to machine or 3-D print thick plastic components and work confidently with heavy canvas, let’s talk timelines and milestones so we can move this project forward quickly.
