PNG floorplans to 3D in SketchUp

I need help converting three medium-sized floorplans (in total 165 square meters) in JPG format into 3D using SketchUp specifically for architectural design purposes. It is important that the formatting, detail, and overall look of the 3D object remain completely accurate, and that they can be edited further. Experience with 3D rendering, designing, and sketching is a must.
