Budget: $300 – $600 USD
We at Makerspace 3D are seeking a highly skilled 3D sculptor and modeler to bring the "Warcraft Marine" concept to life for Makerspace 3D. This project involves creating a stunning 32mm heroic scale miniature that combines dynamic poses and intricate details based on the provided reference images.
The final model must be designed for 3D printing and include three distinct, action-oriented poses. The "Warcraft Marine" will wield the following iconic weapons:
Power Sword: A massive, spiked blade with intricate engravings and a heroic silhouette.
Lion-Themed Pistol: A detailed firearm adorned with baroque and lion-themed elements.
Key Model Requirements:
The model must be able to be printed on professional grade 8k and 14k resolution UV resin printers. This is a key deliverable aspect of the project.
The model's armor and weapons, its entire appearance, will be based on the attached four images here on the posting. It is perfectly okay for the weapons to be less detailed on the model than in the reference images. The image generator went wild. Read on for more information.
Warcraft Marine Design Description:
Armor: The marine's armor features lion-themed decorations, intricate engravings, and high-gothic elements. These details must be preserved in the sculpt.
Weapon Grip: One hand will hold the power sword, while the other wields the pistol. The grips should look natural and action-oriented.
Scale: The model must be in 32mm heroic scale, compatible with standard tabletop miniatures.
Pose Variations: Three distinct poses:
Pose 1: Charging forward with the sword raised high, ready to strike, and the pistol aimed slightly downward.
Pose 2: A defensive stance with the sword held to block an attack and the pistol aimed straight ahead.
Pose 3: Mid-swing with the sword while firing the pistol in the opposite direction.
Weapon Details:
Power Sword:
Must capture the serrated edges, engraved details, and heroic proportions shown in the provided reference.
Lion-Themed Pistol:
The baroque designs and lion head motif must be clearly visible and proportional to the marine’s heroic scale.
Printability:
STL format suitable for high-detail 3D printing.
Optimized for resin printing (0.05mm layer height).
Modular assembly (separate arms, weapons, or base elements) if feasible.
Base Design:
Each pose should have a thematic base that matches the marine’s dynamic stance (e.g., rubble, battlefield debris, or ornate flooring).
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Expertise in 3D modeling for miniatures in heroic scale.
Experience creating highly detailed, printable STL models.
Familiarity with Warhammer 40k or similarly styled tabletop miniatures is a plus.
Familiarity with World of Warcraft is a plus
Ability to translate intricate concept art into a functional and visually stunning miniature.
Deliverables:
