Multi-Layer KiCad PCB Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a KiCad specialist to turn my draft concept into a production-ready multi-layer board for an industrial controller. The board must safely handle several high-current rails, so correct copper thickness, generous trace widths, via stitching, and well-planned plane splits are essential.
You will start from my block diagram and preliminary net-list, refine the schematic, and then create a clean, rule-compliant layout. Please keep manufacturability in mind: standard stack-up, clear silkscreen, sensible component placement for assembly, and all footprints linked to 3D models where possible. Although high-speed signals and advanced thermal solutions are not priorities at this stage, good practice is always appreciated.
Deliverables
• KiCad project folder (.kicad_sch, .kicad_pcb, libraries)
• Gerber and drill files ready for fabrication
• Pick-and-place file, BOM (CSV or XLSX), and PDF assembly drawing
• Brief design report summarising current-carrying calculations and DRC results
Acceptance criteria
– Passes KiCad DRC with my clearance rules
– Trace widths and copper weight calculations support the specified load (details shared on award)
– All files open without errors in KiCad 7.x and in the CAM viewer of JLCPCB or PCBWay
