Modern T-Shirt Design
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m developing a performance T-shirt specifically for runners and need a skilled apparel designer to turn the idea into production-ready assets. The look I’m after is sleek, contemporary and distinctly athletic, with thoughtful use of texture and fabric that feels light yet premium when worn at pace.
You’ll translate the concept into clear visuals and technical documentation. Adobe Illustrator (or an equivalent vector tool) for flat sketches and a 3D package such as CLO 3D or Browzwear for realistic mock-ups are ideal, but if you already have another reliable workflow we can discuss it. I’m open to functional touches—think quick-dry finishes, discreet reflective hits, or mesh zoning—so feel free to propose material or construction ideas that enhance breathability and overall run comfort.
Deliverables
• Mood or inspiration board capturing colour direction, texture and silhouette
• Front, back and side flats with call-outs for seams, panels and print/branding positions
• Fabric and trim recommendations with supplier references where possible
• Complete tech pack (measurements, BOM, stitch types, artwork placement) ready for my manufacturer
• Optional: 3D mock-up or animated turntable to visualise drape and fit
