Modern Coastal Facade Redesign Needed - 13/10/2025 00:28 EDT

Job ID: 39876827

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I already hold a full set of architectural plans for my new-build, yet the exterior still doesn’t excite me. The colours, materials, and general form feel flat rather than relaxed-modern coastal.

Here’s what I need: a fresh concept for the front façade that rethinks those three problem areas—colour palette, material mix, and the way the architectural elements read from the street. I’m drawn to a blend of wood/timber features paired with stone and concrete accents, so please lean into that material family when proposing cladding, feature walls, or detailing.

The updated concept should refine the front elevation in particular and also the rear of the house; if a tweak to roofline, window rhythm, or the entry statement helps the look come together, I’m open to seeing that too. What matters is that the home projects a calm, contemporary coastal identity while staying build-friendly for my contractor.

Deliverables I can act on:
• An updated façade elevation (PDF or DWG) showing new colours and materials
• A mood board or material sheet identifying timber, stone, and concrete selections
• One or two perspective visuals or renders so I can show stakeholders the vision

Please keep the structural footprint intact as much a possible. I am willing to change elements of the structure but nothing major.

I have attached our current plans and inspo photos of the type of stone and look we were going for. I feel the current facade we have is boring and lacks something.
